Welcome to the website for Pastors & Seminary Students. The Ranch is an eighty acre hideaway designed with you in mind. We want to help you in your ministry, so check us out and contact us when you're ready!

If God has called you to the ministry, you know how hard it can be at times. So do we. That's why God has led us to build a place just for you. Nestled in the foothills of the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Northern California, The Ranch is a quiet & secluded place where you & God can get reacquainted and spend some time alone together and renew that special relationship you once had. And, best of all, there is no charge! That's right. Our ministry to you won't cost you a thing. We know that, sometimes, when you need refreshing the most you can least afford it. For the past four years the lion's share of the finances to support the Ranch have come from our (Sharon's & mine) income. With more and more pastors coming to stay at the Ranch, it is quickly becoming more than we can handle on our own. Would you consider helping? Welcome to our newly remodeled website for The Ranch, a ministry for pastors and seminary students. Our goal here at The Ranch is to help you be all that God wants you to be. Working closely with pastors over the years has given me a fondness for them, their wives and families and an appreciation for the sacrifices they make in their day-to-day ministry.

That’s why in 2004 I sold my Southern California home, closed my construction business and came to Northern California to start a ministry.

Surrounded on three sides by the Tahoe National forest, The Ranch provides an ideal setting for rest, recuperation or personal prayer, study and growth. In addition, we offer a simple curriculum that can enhance your understanding of scripture and give you sermon illustrations that you never imagined.
